Fun Facts

  • Swarthmore College's first graduating class, the Class of 1873, consisted of six students: five women and one man.
  • October is a glorious time for a Pterodactyl Hunt, don't you think? At least that's the case at Swarthmore College. Students don garbage bag "armor" and wield foam swords to fight pterodactyls (amongst other beasts!) for one crazy campus night.
